I currently live in Formby, Merseyside and am a recent graduate of Ceramics at the University of Central Lancashire.

 

Having spent many years in various admin roles, event organisation and office management, I hope I can put my experience to good use doing what I love.

 

I have always been passionate about art, and The Arts, and have now found the medium which suits me best. I enjoy working with my hands and get a lot of satisfaction from the tactile nature of working with clay, and from seeing the pieces develop before me. My inspiration comes from all sorts of everyday things, moss, algae growing on a log, pinecones and marram grass. I am a visual learner and make a lot of use of photography during the creative process.

 

I have two children, a daughter aged 25 and a son aged almost 7. They are both very creative - it must run in the family!
